Kevin came from a church going family, but faith was rarely a topic of discussion and no one ever opened and read the Bible. As a result, he didn’t actually hear the gospel message, and comprehend it, until he was a junior in college. Shortly thereafter Kevin accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior, and shortly after graduation, was engaged to the love of his life, Wendy. They began looking for a church that would teach God’s Word, and came across a Bible church where they lived, in Austin. From that point on, Kevin felt that their faith grew by leaps and bounds. They moved to Palacios in 1997 and became very active members of a church there, until we moved to Bay City in 2011. The timing was ordained by God, because at almost exactly the same time we moved, Coastal Family Bible Church was founded and we joined immediately. “In this church, our pastor, every family, the fellowship, and the uncompromising Bible teaching we find here.”- Kevin
