As a son of a vocational minister, Jamon grew up in churches around Southeast Texas. When he was 8 years old, he walked the aisle of one of these churches and made a “profession of faith” at the prompting of a friend. However, over the course of a few years God moved and convicted him that his earlier profession of faith was hollow and false and at the age of 11, he genuinely repented of his sins and trusted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He would later answer the call to vocational ministry and over the course of 15 years, has served in two churches as minister to children and families. For the past several years he has been filling pulpits and preaching in various churches as the Lord leads. He is now serving as an elder at Coastal Family Bible Church and lives in Bay City with his wife Blake and their three kids-Logan, Mason and Haley.
