What to expect at our corporate worship service:
While our weekend worship service does look a little different from time to time, here is what you can always expect at Coastal Family Bible Church:
A Warm Welcome - We do everything we can to make you feel right at home. We have members ready to help you find your way around and plenty of food to share after our service.
A Blend of Families, Singles, and Students - We believe that every Christian is a valuable contributor to the body of Christ, so we avoid segregating the church into ages and stages as much as possible. We produce an interactive Children's Worship Guide (which may be picked up at the doors to the worship area before or during the service) so that children can participate in the service.
Thoughtful Music with Solid Content - Worship music is chosen based on two criteria: it must exalt Christ and be theologically accurate. The purpose of music in the service is to worship our Savior, not for entertainment. A variety of musical styles are used depending on the abilities of the musicians and the leading of the Spirit.
Expositional Preaching - The Scriptures are taught in a verse-by-verse format within the context of the passage. Whether studying a book or a topical series, the most important aspect is discovering what the Word of God actually says.
